1954 began a period of great economic growth in Japan. Into this age of rapid development, Takagi Seiko was born in 1955. It brought experience of manufacturing medical devices to develop new technologies that would serve the vision of eye care specialists around the world.
Our original manufacturing team held a firm belief: “A craftsman should be able to assemble the parts they make.” This meant not only acquiring the skills to amend parts on demand, but also the mastery to build the machines that modify those parts for better assembly. Through such self-development, TAKAGI’s spirit was born and nurtured with the heart of the company.
